LIBRARY & LEARNING RESOURCES

  • Katuri Medical College & Hospital has a well-equipped library that houses an extensive collection of textbooks, reference materials, and both Indian and international journals covering every branch of medicine. In addition, students and staff have access to Digital Library, making it a comprehensive resource center for study and research.

  • As of May 2026, the library has catalogued 17,236 books and 5917 journals. Spanning a total area of 3,300 sq. m., it features two dedicated reading rooms, each with a seating capacity of more than 270 students, designed primarily for undergraduate learning and study.

  • Separate reading rooms are available for postgraduate students and faculty, providing a quiet environment that fosters regular reading and reference work. The inclusion of video resources and other modern learning aids further enhances the dissemination of medical knowledge.

  • The college library operates from 08:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., while reading room facilities remain open round the clock. Equipped with computers, internet, and Wi-Fi access, the library enables students and faculty to connect with international institutions, stay updated on global medical developments, and access journals through the NTR MEDNET consortium.
